Cosmetic Surgery and what you don’t see or may expect!!

Hello, Hello everybody! Finally functioning after having two cosmetic procedures done yesterday. First just to let everyone know I was only going in for a consultation and had no idea they could do the procedures the same day. So to save taking another day off from work I decided to do them both yesterday. Now I had done my research on the Doctor and knew the office since I was referred by a long time friend who looks about 15 years younger than her actual age (which I wont say who or how old she is because that’s her private business), but trust me she looks fabulous!

I went to Dr. Dean Kane in Pikesville Maryland and would highly recommend him. Everyone in the office is super sweet and made me feel very welcome and comfortable. I even got a hug from Dr. Kane after and it really settled my nerves. Yes I was nervous, I had never done anything like this before!! Cosmetic virgin over here.

So I ended up getting Dysport in my forehead to smooth away some pretty deep lines. Some people said I didn’t need it but they bothered me and working in the makeup industry I wanted to have them filled in. I also, had lip fillers done. So Dyport wasn’t so bad, but the procedure was a whole other ball game. First I had the numbing cream, (keep mouth closed, it tastes gross) then Dr. Kane did the block. I never had issues with needles or the dentist so to me yes it hurt but it was tolerable. If you hate needles and the dentist, I don’t recommend this procedure for you honestly. So once I was numb the filler was fine and the numbness wore off like the dentist.

Come 8pm last night I was in so much pain!! Emphasize pain! I thought I was having a reaction to the filler but I wasn’t turns out, this was normal. Unfortunately I did NOT sleep a wink last night and had to call out of work because my lips hurt and were still so swollen. I’m thinking by tomorrow they will be so much better. So to be honest, overall I’m excited to see what my money paid for and hopefully a sexier end result. Lip fillers and dysport (different form of botox) are expensive so please keep that in mind and know what you are spending. Also I don’t think once this all wears off in a year I’ll get my lips done again. I know I say that now and we’ll see but the pain I had may just not be worth it for me. I’ll be posting pictures of my lips as soon as they fully go down so you all can see the final end result!! If you have any questions about my experience please email me or drop my an IG DM!
