Last Minute Shoppers

So it being December 13th and this close to Christmas, I figured I’d talk about last minute shopping. You are probably thinking to yourself, ok boring topic, but no seriously, I feel like each year I become more and more last minute. I run out of ideas for the men, the parents, (friends are easy), nieces and nephews, I have 8 of those and my money tree still hasn’t bloomed quite yet. So for my boyfriend this year I framed his favorite sport’s players jersey, a good frame runs about $200, and at ULTA, men’s fragrance came with a free robe with a $50.00 purchase so that’s an extra gift. Nordstrom Rack has an actual holiday option button online, so pajamas, shoes, nice wallets and travel bags at great price points!! My parents asked for joint gift cards to their favorite restaurant and last year I did 23 and me, so joint gifts are always easier for the parents and grandparents. Don’t have a lot of money?

Everyone likes cookie and brownies for the most part, and kids usually love hot chocolate so create little yummy gift packages for the whole family to enjoy and slip a bottle of wine for the rents!! Now, what is really last minute this year was something for myself. I have a wedding to attend tomorrow and I had the worst luck finding a dress. I ordered a dress from misguided.com and I love it! Only downfall was it has a train on the back slightly and my boyfriend thinks I might fall or all 200 of his family members will be stepping on it. So I’m saving that dress. Then I ordered a gorgeous dress from LuLu’s.com and usually have great luck there, but recently I dropped 15lbs with my new job at MAC (a lot of walking) and the first thing to go was of course the 2 girls up top if you catch my drift. So that dress did not fit and will be going back. Desperately searching through my closet and seeing summer and fall dresses I was starting to panic.

I got off work at 5 today and went to Target and returned the backless bra that didn’t help my situation. As I’m driving home, something or maybe even God himself said stop at your crappy mall and look in there(we have almost no stores). So I went in and thought ok, lets go to Boscov’s and nope, bust. Last and only other place was a New York and Company outlet and sometimes I get lucky in there, so low and behold, I found the PERFECT wine colored dress that is a bodycon with a little leather accent in the middle. I will be posting this dress tomorrow on IG so everyone can see it. Ladies never forget about your last option store. You may just find your treasure piece in there! Email me or DM me on IG if you need great gift ideas or even store ideas!! Happy Shopping!!
